The goal of the Baptist International Accrediting Agency is to ensure that education provided by our member institutions meets acceptable levels of quality in higher education.
Baptist International Accrediting Agency is an international accrediting agency established to encourage and maintain high academic standards in the areas of private education. We are a non-governmental agency and make no claim to be connected with the government.
Accreditation is quality assurance through external peer review. When an institution is accredited, it has demonstrated that it meets the high standards set by organizations representing the academic membership of BIAA. We also offer Teacher Certification.
For that reason, we have developed evaluation criteria and conduct peer evaluations to assess whether those criteria are met. Institutions or programs that request BIAA membership and meet our criteria receive “accreditation” from BIAA.
